Glassy waves, flowy surfers and surf scenes in essence

I like the process of synthesis that drives to the essential and the telling power of a few lines or brush strokes.

My work starts from observation during surf checks and sessions,
then a thorough analysis of the main features and volumes of what I see.
The scenes in my works arise in my imagination and I synthesize them and represent them on paper or canvas.

Acrylique paint for glassy uncrowded waves and black ink for surfing silhouettes and scenes.
No pencil trace, paint and ink are spread directly on the blank support.

Through my artworks I aim to convey the purity and the elegance of the movement of waves and surfers
and let you fill in the details to picture your own surf spot or magic moment in the water!
